Asher Levin came from England, (though his grandparents came from Germany and Poland) and has made Berlin and the surrounding countryside his home. He practices CI, making performances (both on stage and in creation), he teaches CI, approaches to acting, and physical theatre. He practices living well (an ongoing challenge) and loving, taking care and being reckless. He left England to pursue…things Berlin has to offer. He is surprised to find himself managing and programming a small dance studio. A further surprise is to be often heading towards the Polish border, where he spent much of the winter watching a wood fire and the changing season in beautiful Stolzenhagen. He likes to walk to the Oder, watch the wildlife and ponder the nature of borders. Freistil impro is also taking him to extreme, weird and wonderful places - up to and across borders in his imagination and to the fascinating place between fiction and reality.
